What happens to your details when you visit this site or send us an enquiry.

In short

This website does not use cookies or tracking, and it has no database. When you send an enquiry, your details go to us over WhatsApp or email, and we use them only to reply and to quote for your project. You can ask us to see, correct or delete them at any time.

Who we are

This website, web.blacktrack.in, is run by Black Track Web Development, part of Black Track Group. For anything about your personal data, contact us at studio@blacktrack.in.

What we collect, and why

  • The project brief form. It asks for your name, email, city, project type and description, and optionally your business name, package, budget and timeline. The form does not send anything to a server: pressing "Send brief on WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp with your brief typed in, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp yourself.
  • Messages, calls and emails. If you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone or by email, we receive your number or address and what you tell us.
  • What we use it for. Only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a scope and quotation, and deliver and invoice the project if you go ahead. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

Services that handle data when you visit

  • Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, and Cloudinary supplies the logo images, so your browser requests files from them.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) carries any brief or message you choose to send us there, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and this site stores nothing in your browser. If that changes, we will update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we are discussing or delivering your project, and project and invoice records for as long as the law requires for accounts and tax. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted when they are no longer needed, and you can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct or update it, or erase it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Email studio@blacktrack.in with your request and we will reply promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. We keep enquiry details in our business WhatsApp and email accounts and share them with no one outside the people working on your project.
